Dr Eric Cole is an expert, industry leader and author in the world of Cybersecurity with 30 years’ experience.
Dr Cole began his career with the CIA as a professional hacker when network and computer security was in its formative years. He eventually left the intelligence community to join the SANS Institute where he developed coursework that is now the foundations of the SANS Information Security Training and Security Certification.
Eric had further positions as the Chief Technology Officer at McAfee and Chief Scientist and Lockheed Martin.
Through his own venture, Secure Anchor Consulting, he offers advice, assessments, and certification through his experience and expertise across the entire spectrum of cybersecurity. These include vulnerability discovery, penetration testing, perimeter defense, secure network design, and intrusion detection systems.
