Katie Moussouris, CEO of Luta Security, tackles meeting users halfway
Katie Moussouris is the founder and CEO of Luta Security, and has had quite a colourful and impressive career. Having worked at Symantec, Microsoft and HackerOne, her experiences ranged from giant and overwhelming cybersecurity projects to refining the finer details of her own personal projects.
Today she sits atop a company she made for herself through all her wisdom. Wisdom that Katie Moussouris happily shared with us as we spoke about users, hacking for companies and the future of cybersecurity.
“WE’VE GOT ALL THESE CONFLICTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR USERS, IN TERMS OF THEIR BEHAVIOUR, BUT ACTUALLY WHAT WE NEED IS A LITTLE BIT MORE HARMONISATION IN WHAT WE ARE TELLING USERS AND HOW WE IMPLEMENT THESE SYSTEMS.”
