TechEX Global 2023 has just come to a close following two days filled with ground-breaking stories, inspirational speakers, and fascinating discussions about everything from AI to Security to the cloud.

This long-awaited event was dedicated to the latest innovations within AI and Big Data, Blockchain, Cyber Security and IoT ecosystems, bringing together key industries from across the globe for two days of top-level content and thought leadership discussions across 6 co-located events.

The first day kicked off with a talk from OpenAI’s Rodger Werkhoven at the AI & Big Data Expo, who spoke about the challenges and triumphs of OpenAI’s rise and the future of the dynamic AI landscape. 

Other notable talks at the AI & Big Data Expo included a keynote presentation with Salesforce and a discussion with representatives from Lloyds Banking, Responsible AI UK, Standard Chartered Bank and Swansea University. 

Over in the Cybersecurity & Cloud Expo, Paul Sutton, Operational Technology Cyber Architect at Ofgem spoke about how companies can keep their infrastructure secure within the engineering lifecycle.

 There was also a talk from Kishan Majithia, Executive Director, Cyber and Technology Controls, JPMorgan about how companies prioritise controls to the areas of highest risk in complex multi-tier environments. 

The IoT Tech Expo also featured some phenomenal keynote presentations during the two-day event. It began with a panel discussion between representatives from Digital, Turner and Townsend, Hitachi Energy, Buro Happold and the founder and Chair of the Global Digital Twin Forum about staying on track with digital twins. 

There was also a fascinating presentation from Jesper Toubøl, Vice President of Operations at Lego, who explored how organisations can pave the way for productivity and sustainability.

As official media partners of the AI & Big Data expo, the Cybersecurity & Cloud Expo, and the IoT expo, the EM360Tech team was there to speak with exhibitors, attendees and experts about all the latest tech trends, hottest topics, and newest innovations.

AI & Big Data Expo

On Thursday we interviewed Tony Pitchford, Account Director at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, about recent advancements in AI and how regulation could shape the future of the technology. 

 

 

We also spoke to Conor O Mahony, Account Manager at Workato, about the complexity of implementing AI technologies and the future of the technology in the enterprise. 

 


Cybersecurity & Cloud Expo

At the Cybersecurity & Cloud Expo, we spoke to Marc Barry, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Enclave Networks, about the importance of zero trust and replacing VPNs for better security. 

 

 

We also interviewed Owen Lovelock, Sales Director at Integres Software Solutions about keeping cloud costs down and securing your cloud environments.

 


IoT Tech Expo

Over at the IoT expo, we interviewed Warren Barrie, the Global Sales Director of Bulk Data Centers about the rise of AI and how recent advancements in technology are impacting data centre operations. 

 

 

We also spoke to Eduard Meelhuysen, RVP of Sales for EMEA at Tenable, about cloud complexity and some of the barriers that organisations face when migrating to the cloud.
